I Wanna Rock Your Face Off
For the moment, I am going to ignore the fact that this is coming out on Playstation 2. I don’t know if this is meant to be an exclusive thing, but whatever. You know I want it on the Xbox 360, as does pretty much everyone (except, of course for people who only play it on the PS2, but well, that’s not me, so it’s not my problem). Downloadable Content? Please?
Anyway, here’s the thing: I’ll buy it anyway. Some people out there seem a little underwhelmed by the set list, but I, on the other hand, am super excited. Check it out:
- “Holy Diver” - Dio
- “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)” - Quiet Riot
- “Nothin’ But a Good Time” - Poison
- “I Wanna Rock” - Twisted Sister
- “Lonely is the Night” - Billy Squier
- “Synchronicity II” - The Police
- “Heat of the Moment” - Asia
- “Shakin’” - Eddie Money
- “Bathroom Wall” - Faster Pussycat
- “Round and Round” - Ratt
- “I Ran (So Far Away)” - A Flock of Seagulls
- “Play With Me” - Extreme
- “18 and Life” - Skid Row
- “Balls to the Wall” - Accept
- “Only a Lad” - Oingo Boingo
- “The Warrior” - Scandal
- “We Got the Beat” - The Go-Go’s
That’s 17 tracks, out of a proposed 30. Bow Wow Wow’s “I Want Candy” was announced, but then retracted. Which I’m fine with, because I actually kind of hate that song.
But seriously, kids. I think it may be time to break out the spandex and the tassles, tease the hair and learn to do the splits. Seriously, can anyone really not think playing “Heat of the Moment” won’t be completely, ridiculously awesome? Two songs that would be unbelievably killer thrown into this mix: “The Final Countdown” by Europe and “Rock You Like a Hurricane” by The Scorpions. That, my dearly confused reader, would make for a fucking arena rock version of a home run.
Check out some in game footage of a few tracks found on YouTube:
