Photojojo's Awesome New Camera Bag
The always awesome Photojojo just released a pretty impressive looking SLR camera bag. The idea behind this release is that, frankly, camera bags tend to look pretty universally dull.
The Sloop definitely wouldn't classify as dull, but I'm not sure it's really my brand of excitement either. That said, it would be pretty tempting if not for the $149 price tag. I've spent more than enough on bags in the past few years (including nearly $300 on a Red Oxx Sky Train last summer), so I'll probably draw the line here.
I'd be curious to hear some field reports from anyone who owns one of these, however.
About Me
Robert Svihla"Eurotransient" is the name I gave myself in the spring of 2001. I was about to graduate from university and I booked a three month trip to Europe, into Madrid and home from Paris. Earlier that semester, a professor of mine called me a "transient being." While the specifics of why are lost to me, when the time came to set up a web-based email address I could access with ease from abroad, I simply stuck to the idea and went with "eurotransient." It seemed fitting, as I simply had an entry and exit point, but no itinerary to fill the time in between.
As it turns out, I am addicted to signing up for new websites. Chances are, if you have a website, I have an account. The worst part is that I kind of love them all, which makes it difficult to settle for one site over another.
Take this Posterous account, for example. After three years of using the lovely Wordpress, I decided to settle my eurotransient.com domain here. But I'm also autoposting all of this over to a Tumblr edition of Nonsense.
But wait, I have two more Tumblr's: Snaps, which is my photoblog, and A Little Nonsense, which is just for quick links and the like.
Confused yet? Yeah, me too. In any case, since you're here, feel free to read a bit and comment. Besides new websites, I'm into great games, beautiful photography and delicious cooking. I wasted my college years studying film and I know a thing or two about that, too. There's also the travel thing I mentioned earlier.
