Grilled Cheese, Sub Donut
I admit, slicing a Krispy Kreme donut in half, spreading butter over the exposed interior and frying it in a pan with cheddar cheese on top sounds insane. That said, you're probably kind of curious, right?
It's exactly as delicious as you think it is. The sweetness from the glaze melts and commingles with the cheese perfectly. I'd probably skip the butter next time, however, as it did maybe soften the "bun" a bit too much. When you're in the midst of creation, you just go with your natural instincts and mine say "butter your bread." Truth is, there's probably enough fat going on in the dough itself to give you a nice crispy brown exterior when your cheesy donut sandwich is finished cooking.

Robert Svihla"Eurotransient" is the name I gave myself in the spring of 2001. I was about to graduate from university and I booked a three month trip to Europe, into Madrid and home from Paris. Earlier that semester, a professor of mine called me a "transient being." While the specifics of why are lost to me, when the time came to set up a web-based email address I could access with ease from abroad, I simply stuck to the idea and went with "eurotransient." It seemed fitting, as I simply had an entry and exit point, but no itinerary to fill the time in between.
As it turns out, I am addicted to signing up for new websites. Chances are, if you have a website, I have an account. The worst part is that I kind of love them all, which makes it difficult to settle for one site over another.
Take this Posterous account, for example. After three years of using the lovely Wordpress, I decided to settle my eurotransient.com domain here. But I'm also autoposting all of this over to a Tumblr edition of Nonsense.
But wait, I have two more Tumblr's: Snaps, which is my photoblog, and A Little Nonsense, which is just for quick links and the like.
Confused yet? Yeah, me too. In any case, since you're here, feel free to read a bit and comment. Besides new websites, I'm into great games, beautiful photography and delicious cooking. I wasted my college years studying film and I know a thing or two about that, too. There's also the travel thing I mentioned earlier.
